Name of Restoration Site: Lower North Branch (RC327)

Location of the site: This proposed restoration site is located on Lower North Branch, a tributary to Rock Creek,
approximately 4,000 feet from an area northeast of the end of Grist Mill Drive downstream to Muncaster Mill Road.

History of the site:
According to Montgomery County DEP, a stream restoration project is under design in this area.
The objective of the proposed restoration design is to stabilize the stream banks, reforest and
enhance the riparian buffer, and improve habitat conditions throughout this reach.
