Name of Restoration Site: Stream Valley Drive (RC3220)

Location of the site: This restoration site is located on a tributary to the upper reaches of Rock Creek, near it's headwaters, south of
Fieldcrest Road.

History of the site:
According to Montgomery County DEP, a stream restoration project is underway in this area.
The goals of the restoration are to stabilize eroding stream banks, enhance the riparian buffer,
improve fish passage, enhance floodplain access, establish vernal pools, and improve instream
aquatic habitat conditions.
