Name of Restoration Site: RC3.29 Lower Turkey Branch

Location of the site: This site extends extends approximately 3,150 feet from Connecticut Avenue to Veirs Mill Road.

History of the site:
According to Montgomery County DEP, a stream restoration project is planned for this area.
The objective of this conceptual design is to stabilize the stream banks, protect sewer lines,
enhance vernal pools, stabilize outfalls with velocity reduction measures, improve fish passage,
and improve habitat conditions throughout this reach.
